I was bringing my late dad’s dream classic car from Puerto Nuevo, BC Mexico to the US and I had no idea what I was going to do with it once I crossed the border. The tow truck driver who drove me and my dad’s 1963 studebaker avanti over the border asked what my plans were for the car and I had no answer. I had looked at classic car dealerships in San Diego but nothing aligned with what I needed being from the San Francisco Bay Area with this random classic car. My tow truck driver said he could make a call and two hours later Bill came to the rescue. We met Bill in a parking lot and he inspected everything. My fiancé also came and they both hit it off being into Japanese cars. I feel like Bill is very honest and was not trying to low ball me for this car. Bill made me feel very safe and I feel like I did the right thing by selling him the car that my dad loved so much. Little did he know I was desperate to get it off my hands. My dad loved it but no one else did and I had no where to put it. Bill made me an excellent offer and we immediately went to his bank for a cashiers check, we signed the paperwork, and I was able to pay off some debts from my dad. Bill had even told the tow truck driver if I was uncomfortable at all that there was no pressure. Bill is very knowledgeable, kind, and professional and I’m so grateful our paths crossed.
