Classic Toyota Supra Buyer in California
Sell Your Vintage Supra to a Serious, Licensed Buyer
Why Supra Owners Work With Me
I’m Bill Neff, a licensed California buyer with a long history of working with vintage Japanese imports, including early Supras before most people recognized their value. I focus on well-kept, original cars and handle every sale personally, without the layers of a dealership or listing platform.
There’s a difference between selling to someone who just wants to flip your car and someone who knows what it’s worth. Here’s what I offer:
1. Licensed California Dealer – No Middlemen or Listings
You don’t have to post online, host strangers or field lowball offers. I buy directly and handle the entire process personally.
2. Experience With Early Supras
I’ve been around long enough to know why a clean P-type with a 5-speed and factory alloys still turns heads. I value originality and understand what makes these early Supras special.
3. On-Site Pickup, Anywhere in California
Wherever your car is located, I’ll meet you there. You don’t have to transport it or clean it up for a showing.
4. DMV and Title Work Taken Care Of
I handle the paperwork during our visit, including the title, bill of sale and release of liability.
5. Straightforward, Pressure-Free Offers
If the car makes sense for me, I’ll make a fair offer. If not, I’ll still take the time to look at it and explain why.
Classic Toyota Supras Wanted Across California
Selling a Vintage Supra? Let’s Make It Simple
The Supras I’m Looking For
The best Supras I buy tend to be the ones that were kept clean, stored indoors or maintained with care. I’m especially interested in:
- 1979–1981 Celica Supra (Mk1)
- 1982–1986.5 Toyota Supra (Mk2) — L-Type or P-Type
- Factory alloy wheels, sunroof and original interiors
- Unmodified or lightly upgraded examples
- Stored, garage-kept or parked long-term with known history
- One-owner or low-mileage vehicles
If your Supra doesn’t check every box but has solid structure and story, it’s still worth reaching out.
Where I Buy Supras in California

A Buyer Who Understands Toyota’s Early Performance Cars
I’ve worked with classic imports for over 30 years, long before early Supras started showing up at auctions and events. These cars carry their own type of appeal – balance, quality and character that doesn’t rely on hype. If you’ve kept yours in the family or simply want to pass it on to someone who gets it, I’m here to help make that happen.
I don’t rush the process. I don’t farm your car out to listings. I show up in person, ask smart questions and handle the deal with clarity and respect. I buy directly, travel statewide and treat every car with the attention it deserves.
Call me at (619) 540-4637 or send in the details using the contact form. I’ll take it from there.
Questions Supra Sellers Often Ask
1. My Supra is automatic, is that a problem?
Not at all. While manual cars are often preferred, I buy automatics too, especially if they’re original and clean.
2. What if my Supra hasn’t run in a while?
That’s not uncommon. I’ve purchased cars that sat in storage for 10–20 years. If it’s mostly complete and rust-free, I’m open to a discussion.
3. Are aftermarket wheels or stereos a dealbreaker?
No. I look at the overall presentation and condition. Minor updates won’t necessarily impact the car’s value.
4. What if the car was in the family for decades but we don’t have full records?
That’s fine. A clear title and known ownership history are usually enough. I’ll walk you through what’s needed to complete the sale.
5. My Supra’s exterior shows its age, is that a dealbreaker?
Not at all. Faded or sun-worn factory paint doesn’t scare me off. In fact, original finishes often tell a better story than a rushed respray. I assess the car based on completeness, condition and authenticity.
