Buying Classic Chevy Pickups Across California
I regularly travel the state to meet sellers and inspect trucks in person. I’ve bought from garages, barns, shops and storage units in:
- San Diego

- Orange County
- Inland Empire
- Santa Barbara, Ventura & Central Coast
- Fresno, Bakersfield & Central Valley
- Bay Area – Oakland, San Francisco, San Jose

If the car is located elsewhere in California and fits my interests, I’m willing to travel.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are fleetside and stepside beds valued differently?
Yes. Some collectors prefer one over the other depending on the year and trim level. Fleetside beds tend to be more popular on later C10s, while stepside styles are favored on early trucks.
What if the truck has a service bed or utility box?
I evaluate each case individually. While factory beds are more collectible, if your truck has good history or original documentation, it may still have value.
Are certain trim packages more desirable?
Yes, especially Cheyenne, Silverado and CST trims on C10s and C20s. Bucket seats, factory A/C, tach dashes and big-block V8s can increase interest.
What years of Chevy pickups are you most interested in?
Primarily 1947–1987, but I’ll consider other older models if they’re in strong original condition.
Do you buy trucks with non-original parts or paint?
Yes. If the overall condition is good and it retains key features or drivability, I’m open to modified or partially restored pickups.
Can I sell my truck without a title?
Yes. I can assist with the paperwork and help request a duplicate title if needed.
My truck hasn’t run in years, is that a dealbreaker?
Not necessarily. If the truck has good bones and hasn’t been stripped, I’ll still consider it. Reach out with details.
Do you buy trucks from out-of-state storage?
I focus on California, but I’ve made exceptions. Let me know where the truck is located and we can discuss options.
Do you work with family members helping a parent or estate sell a pickup?
Yes. I often help adult children or heirs manage vehicle sales during estate settlements. I make the process easy and respectful.
