Rare to find 1970 Mercedes 280SE Coupe, late “low Grille” example. Equipped with a 2.8 L 6 cylinder engine, floor shift automatic, Behr Air Conditioning, Power Sunroof, Power windows, Becker Europa Stereo, Leather Interior. Rich Tobacco Brown color with contrasting cognac interior. Shows just 54,672 miles. Appears to have been Pampered since new it still is in its original paint and with its original interior (exception is front seat leather)  Appears to have been in and out of storage for many years. Recently stored again in 2016 sometime after a visit to the Mercedes Dealer for service. Unfortunately, this last time it was parked it was left outside and has suffered from sun damage.  Now requires some light cosmetics to bring it back to its glory. Areas need to be addressed include rear package tray, top of rear seats, wood at top of dash. Front seats also have some sun fade that a redeye could address. The carpet, trim panels remains in remarkable condition and shows no wear  or tear. The engine bay needs a slow meticulous detail as well. The paint is presentable, showing some patina. It has lost some of its great depth and shows some water staining. Overall the Chrome, including bumpers remain in as new condition.  The body is fantastic: straight as an arrow, fantastic panel gaps, rust and accident free. Runs very well, drives nice. However suggest a complete service before long trips due to its slumber. Sunroof and windows work well, A/C and Factory radio are non op. This car offers a rare opportunity for a Mercedes collector to own an original, low mileage quality example at a reduced affordable price due to its current cosmetic condition. Call for details…..
