Exceptional example of the one year only 1962 Austin Healey 3000 Tri-Carb. Original dry and rust free life long California car ( Inland Santa Rosa area) It’s a wonderful survivor. Always a nice car never taken apart for restoration. As it left the Factory. In the former owners possession since it was just 3 years old. Years ago it was left parked in his garage unused and while he was well in retirement it was decided to get it out and make it a driver once again. Taken to a British Sports car specialist for a no expense mechanical restoration that was started in 2016. Work included: Engine / trans  rebuild, carburetors rebuilt, cooling system, complete brake system, steering box, new hubs, chrome rims, tires plus more including a complete stainless steel exhaust system. In addition a complete new correct leather interior, convertible top and side curtains as well were fitted. The body is amazing without prior rust or accident damage. All panels and especially the doors align perfectly. It’s as straight as an arrow down the sides. Just back from a major detail with paint correction and its stunning to see in person. With a good portion still original paint on close inspection one may find a chip or some imperfections due to age.  Runs and drives as new. One of the best driving Big Healey’s I have experienced.
