Beautiful example of one of Mercedes best made models. Powerful and durable six cylinder, dual carbs, 4 speed manual transmission.  Although the 220 sedans were built on a production line; the Cabriolets and Coupes were primarily hand assembled. Doors close like a vault.  Gorgeous solid wood, sculptured dash and wood trim. A low production model, only 2,178 220S convertibles were made through its short run.

Factory black with tan leather. Older high quality cosmetic restoration that included a bare metal Lacquer re-paint. Perfect panel alignment, laser straight finish. Never suffered from rust. Have the original sales order papers, books and manuals and the Mercedes Production Certificate on hand.  A favorite of mine, I have owned it since 2004. I believe I am the 3rd  owner. Well serviced, it is ready to drive anywhere. Fantastic road car,  friendly highway speed gear ratio. Drives remarkably well for is age, this model was way ahead of its time. As with most it was to be delivered with bucket seats; however after it was ordered it was changed at the Factory to a front bench.  Some time ago I acquired a pair of bucket seats, including all mounting brackets from a 1957 220S Coupe. They will need refreshing and will be included with the car. This is great car that has been a pleasure to own. Call for details…..
