Plymouth Road Runner Buyer California

Plymouth Road Runner Buyer in California

Sell Your Classic Mopar Muscle Without the Hassle

Built for speed, stripped of frills, and designed to perform the Road Runner defined what a muscle car should be. If you’re holding onto one and thinking about selling, I’m interested. As a longtime classic Plymouth buyer in California, I specialize in purchasing real-deal muscle cars directly from private owners, including all generations of the Plymouth Road Runner.
If your car is a survivor, a strong driver or a high-option build in long-term storage, I’ll make the process simple. No online listings, dealer consignment or auction delays. Just a direct conversation with a licensed buyer who knows Mopars inside and out.
Call me at (619) 540-4637 or send your details through the contact form to get started.

A Buyer Who Appreciates Muscle, Not Just Numbers

I’ve been chasing down Road Runners since they were just used cars and I still get excited to see one in a driveway. These aren’t just sheet metal and engine codes to me. If you’re ready to let one go, I’ll show up informed, respectful and ready to make a fair offer based on experience – not blue book guessing.

Why Road Runner Owners Choose Old Town Classics

From base 383 cars to HEMI-powered Superbirds, I’ve worked with Road Runner owners across California for decades. Here’s what makes my process different:

    1. Direct Buyer – Licensed Since 1987

I’m not a broker or middleman. You work directly with the person making the offer.

    2. Deep Knowledge of Mopar Performance Cars

I know what a U-code, N96 or V21 means – and why it matters. That insight shows up in my evaluations.

    3. You Don’t Need to List the Car

No ads, no strangers coming to your home. I will come to you and make a real offer in person.

    4. I Handle DMV and Payment on the Spot

Title transfer, bill of sale and payment are handled at your location. No DMV trips or paperwork on your end.

    5. Respect for the Car’s History

No matter if it’s a daily driver or a rare Superbird, I treat every Road Runner with the respect it deserves.

What I’m Looking for in a Plymouth Road Runner

If your car falls into any of these categories, I’m likely interested:

    • 1968–1970 Road Runners — coupe, hardtop and convertible
    • 1971–1972 Road Runners with Air Grabber, rally dash or big-block power
    • Superbird models (with or without wing)
    • 426 HEMI, 440 Six Pack, and 383 V8 cars
    • N96 Air Grabber hoods, Dana 60 axles or 4-speed setups
    • Matching-numbers or solid driver examples
    • Survivors, garage-kept cars or long-term ownership vehicles

I also consider tribute builds, if the work was done with care.

I Buy Road Runners Throughout California

I’ve purchased classic Mopars everywhere from coastal garages to rural shops. I’ll meet you where the car is and handle everything in one visit.

    • San Diego & Orange County
    • Los Angeles & Inland Empire and High Desert
    • Ventura, Santa Barbara,
    • Fresno, Bakersfield & Central Valley
    • Sacramento, Modesto & Stockton
    • San Jose, Oakland & the Bay Area
    • Palm Springs & Coachella Valley

Even if the car hasn’t moved in years, I’ll come take a look.

Talk to Me About Your Road Runner

Is your car sitting under a cover in the garage? Was it parked decades ago and left untouched? I’d like to hear its story. I buy directly, travel to you and make the process smooth from the first conversation to the final paperwork.

Call (619) 540-4637 or send in the contact form. If it’s a fit, I’ll handle the rest.

    Questions Sellers Often Ask Me

My Road Runner is a project car, will you still consider it?

I evaluate each car individually. If it’s mostly complete and still has its core Mopar DNA, I may be interested.

What if the fender tag or broadcast sheet is missing?

Not a dealbreaker. While documentation helps, I also evaluate condition, parts and originality on site.

Do Superbirds have to be complete to sell?

No, even incomplete or modified Superbirds can have value, depending on what remains intact.

I added aftermarket wheels and exhaust. Will that hurt value?

Minor modifications are common and don’t automatically reduce interest. I look at the full picture.

Do you buy multiple Mopars from the same property?

Yes. If there’s more than one Road Runner or other Plymouths like GTX, Duster or ‘Cuda, I can discuss a package deal.
